Why can I call myself a happy person?
The source of my happiness are emotions that I experience through safety, satisfaction and connectedness. This makes me feel good! When other emotions come up, that’s a sign that something in my life is not true anymore, or experiences, expectations and ideas from my past color my “now”. I meet that with mindfulness, self-reflection, courage and self-care. I pay attention to my needs and listen to my heart for doors to open and not close. I care and appreciate the bond with my loved ones, with other people and with me!
